Here is everything you need to know about healthcare benefits at TGP.
Did you know?
The Company offers a range of healthcare benefits to employees who have successfully completed probation.
Do I need to renew my benefits?
You are eligible to renew your benefits from 1st April. Please note that once you've joined a benefit scheme, your membership is ongoing unless you contact the provider to opt out of the scheme.
Are there any changes to the schemes this year?
The dental scheme costs are increasing from 1 April, but there is no increase for Medicash and AXA Health.
What are the healthcare benefits available to me?
- Medicash is a low cost health plan that provides you with cash back towards some everyday healthcare bills, eg eye tests, flu jabs, prescription costs and physiotherapy. In addition, should you join the Company private healthcare scheme, AXA Health, it also pays the excess if you need to make a claim.
- AXA Health, private healthcare scheme offers comprehensive cover for private medical treatment costs as well as virtual GP consultations.
- Bupa Dental scheme offers a range of free and subsidised treatment for dental work including routine and restorative treatment. NHS treatment is fully reimbursed, with private dental care reimbursed subject to annual limits and cover criteria set out in the Bupa benefit table and scheme handbook.
Does my benefit cover my family and dependents?
All employees are entitled to single membership of the healthcare schemes. Employees who hold a job grade NP12 or above are entitled to married, family or single parent cover. However, for those employees who are only entitled single cover you can choose to upgrade your cover to include your spouse or family through an additional monthly deduction from your salary.
