At the beginning of the year we re-established the CSR committee to ensure that there was representation from across the key business units in both Redhill and Newcastle.
Q1 Updates
In the past month, our efforts have been focused on providing support to Ukraine. TGP has contributed £5,000 donation to Disaster Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian appeal.
Our employees have been incredibly generous through donating much needed items which are being sent to Ukraine to help displaced Ukrainian families. And a massive thank you to Eloise Fadden who hosted a bake sale with all proceeds going to the DEC.
What to expect next
In Q2 we will be launching the employee volunteering programme – Action!
The programme provides employees (as individuals or part of a team) with the opportunity to carry out volunteering in the local communities throughout the year. To find out more speak to your CSR committee member and watch out for further information which will be shared via yammer and email later in the month.
We will also be looking to support a range of initiatives throughout the remainder of the year, further comms to follow.
