Kevin Thimm

Kevin Thimm is an Account Manager and part of the new     business team in Leeds dealing with SME customers. His aim is     to bring in as much new business as possible, to meet  customer needs and provide them with a level of service that will generate repeat business. Whilst hitting targets, he also proactively helps others in the team. He has been outstanding at his role so we've taken some time to get to know  him:

Kevin loves his job and his favourite thing about working at TGP is the daily challenge;  “first is everything and second is nothing”!

He enjoys liaising with customers on a daily basis, the       competitiveness of the role when trying to bring new business       sites and reaching business  goals.

Right now he is involved in three main projects: Beat Your     Renewal, managing SME requests for site works and maintaining margins - plus involvement in  the CRM project.

One of Kevin’s passions is music. He enjoys listening to classical music, and being an avid music fan he also owns a pair of decks and used to do some DJing in his younger days. He has a rich collection of 70’s, 60’s and 50’s songs and can name most titles and singers!

He wouldn’t say that he has any hidden talents, but can down a pint of lager pretty quickly! Kevin's other passion is football. He's supported Arsenal since 1991, when the team that won the league was Leeds - although he is not a glory supporter! Kevin particularly enjoys derby day, as both his dad his brother support Tottenham...

Kevin’s favourite memory from childhood is playing for his local football team where they won a county cup quarter-final 6-5. Kevin said:” I scored a hat trick and the winning goal in extra time - the goal I scored in extra time was voted goal of the season and remains the favourite goal I ever scored”

Kevin’s biggest sport-related achievement was when he scored a century at a game of cricket. Kevin said:  “it was a semi-final of a cup and I hit the winning runs. The best memory ever”

The funniest thing Kevin has ever seen at a game of football was a spectator coming up the stairs with a burger and a pint in his hand - a shot went way wide, hitting him in the face and knocking him back down the stairs ... along with the burger and drink.
