It was Time to Talk Day on 4th February. This national day is held every year to encourage the nation to talk about mental health in order to stay connected, share experiences and above all end the stigma around mental health.
This year at TGP, we held a Coffee Roulette. This gave us the opportunity to have a virtual conversation with somebody in the business that we wouldn’t usually speak to.
Those who registered their interest were randomly matched with somebody else from the business and invited to take part in a ‘virtual tea or coffee’.
A total of 32 people took part in the event and there was some great feedback:
“I would definitely do it again… I would definitely recommend it.”
“we had plenty to talk about…”
“It was the highlight of my day and so refreshing to talk to someone I don’t ordinarily speak to.”
“would love to repeat this experience… chance to meet a colleague in a relaxed environment”
