Mark Rose - Major Business Director
Mark took over as the director of Major Business earlier this year, and we thought it’s about time everyone got to know him!
Question 1: So, what are you working on today?
Mark:
- "Right now I am on a train heading to a meeting with one of our strategic TPIs, Inenco.
- Tidying up outstanding actions prior to heading on leave.
- Following up on our recent Major Business conference which was a great opportunity to bring Operations, Commercial and Sales together to continue to improve Major Business."
Question 2: What’s the best part of your role here at TGP?
Mark:
"Being part of TGP, which is relatively small and agile in comparison to some of our competitors, whilst also being a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest organisations. It’s the best of both worlds in some respects!"
Question 3: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Mark:
"A professional golfer. I was a 5-time county champion and once national champion but unfortunately couldn’t putt well enough to make it to the big time!"
Question 4: What’s your favourite movie?
Mark:
"Either ‘The Greatest Showman’ (I thought it was awesome and inspiring) or ‘The Rock’ (San Francisco is one of my favourite places, and who doesn’t love Sean Connery?)"
