30 Days Wild Promo
Wildlife Trusts are asking for as many Random Acts of Wildness as you can cram in to the thirty days of June, to help protect wildlife on a local level and to promote personal well-being.
“Photograph poppies popping through pavement cracks. Listen out for the evening soundtrack of your local birds. Explore a wild place nearby – a park, churchyard, or a local nature reserve. Find out what happens if you leave a patch of your garden to grow wild for 30 days. Follow a bumblebee on its bumbling journey between the flowers. You could even start a nature diary, and write down all the wild things you’ve seen.”
You can contact Total’s Charity Committee at gp.redhill.csr@totalgp.com to receive a digital booklet with loads of ideas for how to make June truly wild, and a printable wallchart to log your activities. We’d love to hear all about what you’re up to, how you’re feeling and where you’re exploring nature, so as well as posting your photos, ideas and Random Acts of Wildness on Instagram (@thewildlifetrusts), Facebook and Twitter (@wildlifetrusts) using #30DaysWild, be sure to send them over to michael.fenn@totalgp.com so they can be shared with the rest of Total. Let’s inspire everyone to explore the wild side of life!
Supported by their 800,000 members, together the Wildlife Trusts care for 2,300 amazing, diverse and beautiful nature reserves, from remote woods and rivers to inner city nature parks. Most people live within a few miles of one of these special places. They look after the amazing wildlife that lives on our coasts and in our seas. They believe that people are a part of nature, so they empower more people to make a positive change for wildlife and wild places on their doorsteps.
