Your GP anywhere, any when.
As a valued member of the TGP family, you should be enrolled in some top-notch healthcare. If not, Why not?! Sort it out! Your health is paramount!
AXA PPP healthcare has made it easier for you to see a GP online on your terms through Doctor@Hand. You can have access to a secure online video or phone GP consultation, 24/7, 365 days a year, at a time and place that suits you. No matter what time of day, whether you are at work, home or on holiday you can have access to a GP.
Obviously, this is not a solution for medical emergencies, but with doctor’s surgery waiting times at all-time record highs, and changing working lifestyles, there’s no denying the potential benefits of flexible medical attention.
Booking an appointment with Doctor Care Anywhere only takes a minute. You just log in via your computer or device, find a time that works for you, and book your appointment the same day.
Open 24/7, 365 days a year, appointments are 20 minutes in length so you'll have plenty of time to discuss whatever is on your mind - no matter how big or small. If you think you'll need more, you can always just book back-to-back appointments. You can then choose your doctor by their name (if you've seen them before), by the areas they specialise in, or by gender - if you'd specifically like to speak to a male or female doctor.
To reiterate, it allows you to speak to a doctor using your computer or laptop, or via the app on your smartphone or tablet. But if preferred, you can simply call too.
Your patient information is kept secure. Doctor@Hand can access your records during the call allowing for discussion of any previous history. You can even read through your updated, jargon-free notes after your consultation so you know exactly what you need to do to start feeling better. Need a referral? No problem. After your consultation, you can even be referred to a specialist, just as your usual GP would!
Finally, Doctor@Hand GP's can prescribe the medication you need during your consultation. Depending on where you are, we can advise you on the best way to access prescriptions locally or you have medication delivered to you directly.
Wow! Very helpful for all of us, but do bear in mind Doctor@Hand is not an emergency medical service so they don’t treat emergencies. If you think you have a medical emergency, please call 111/999 or go to an A&E in the UK.
