… only 20% of the skills and knowledge you need to be effective in your role is provided by L&D! Most comes from ‘on-the-job training’ provided by your manager and work colleagues.
We can’t easily track this on-the-job training data without your help, so we’re missing out on a whole load of your valuable training hours!
What are the Bright Lights Awards?
The Bright Lights Awards have been introduced to recognise individuals investing in their learning and development.
That's why, to help us meet our KPI and participate in the Bright Lights Awards, we’re asking all employees to send L&D their "on-the-job training hours".

🎯 How do I enter the prize draw?
To enter the prize draw simply meet the following criteria:
- Let L&D know your training hours completed between 1 January 2024 and 31 June 2024.
- Complete all mandatory e-learning (those on Lizzy, Ihasco and Convercent)
- Complete the recommended e-learning for the quarter (The current one is: "Well-being at work: Psychological Balance"
What types of training should I include?
- Team/Group Training,
- On the Job Training (e.g. System, Process and knowledge training),
- Webinars,
- Off-site Training.
What shouldn’t I include?
- Departmental/Team/Client Meetings,
- Sponsored Further Education,
- E-Learning (Lizzy, Convercent, Ihasco or Franklin Covey),
- Training organised through the L&D,
- Communications Days,
- Datacamp (if provided through the TotalEnergies account),
- Multiverse Apprenticeship Programme.

How many prizes are there?
To make it fair, we’ve based the number of awards on the number of employees under each Director (you will notice some departments have been brought together for this purpose):

When will nominations be made?
The closing date for this quarter is Sunday, June 30.
Qualifying entries will go into the draw and nominations and prizes awarded week commencing 1 July.
