Following the updates from the Government on Sunday and Monday, I would like to clarify TGP’s current position. In summary, our home working will continue until further notice.
The Government is clear that if you can work from home, you should. As we all have home working capability, this is how we will continue to operate for the time being.
During last week’s Big Breakfast sessions, we discussed our reintroduction to the offices. I’d like to reiterate that we have a team creating a plan specifically designed to ensure our return is undertaken with caution and care. This is being led by Jerome Hardy who is acutely aware of the need to place our safety – one of our core values – at the centre of this plan. Jerome will also consult with the Total Group to create and apply best practice measures which might result in us taking steps additional to those given by our Government in order to further minimise risks to our wellbeing.
Rest assured, when we reach the point of re-opening the doors to our offices, you will be given at least one weeks’ notice.
I hope this message is reassurance that, at least for now, nothing is changing but that we’re preparing for our return and in doing so, carefully considering our approach.
