## Reflections from International Women's Day Celebrations...

## **''*It's not bragging if its based on facts…*”**

A lot of women grow up hearing that it is not nice or modest to brag an talk about themselves. So, how do you self-promote in the workplace and get confident in your professional abilities?

This was at the heart of the #IamRemarkable training held for our TGP community as part of activities to mark International Women's Day.

- *My biggest takeaway from the #IamRemarkable workshop is actually seeing the remarkable women that work at the same company as me – it was really good to see the professional women who deal with some of the same confidence issues as I do so we can know to uplift each other, which I have since made a real effort to do-* **Lydia Smalley**
