Previously known as the Charity Committee, TGP’s CSR committee has one ambition – they are “Committed to making a positive difference to the communities we operate in”.
During 2018 & 2019 TGP supported Hindleap Warren – a residential centre that inspires over 10,000 young people a year through outdoor learning. We’ve held communications days there, painted, cleaned, built an outdoor course, ran marathons (!!) and made financial donations.
We loved it so much, we even made a short film about it.
Over the Christmas period, the Newcastle office held a Christmas Jumper Day and collected items for Crawford House - the sick children's trust. Leeds collected clothes and toiletries for St. George's Crypt who work with the homeless, the vulnerable and those suffering from addiction and Redhill supported Brixton Soup Kitchen by collecting food, clothes and blankets.

We’ve also supported numerous employee and other charities by allowing internal fund-raising initiatives to take place, such as cake sales, as well as contributing to employee’s personal fundraising endeavours by making a financial donation to their chosen charity. We’ve supported swimmers, cyclists, walkers, runners and tough mudderers!

We aim to continue supporting as many initiatives as possible during 2020 as well as launch a new volunteering policy.
Perhaps we’ll support you this year?
SMT Donation
The SMT agreed to each donate £50 towards the three Christmas charities (a total of £150 extra towards each) we’re already giving £1000 to, if TGP hit the business-wide customer query target. This target was a 65% reduction in queries aged over 60 days - which we achieved at the end of 2019.
