2017 Results Summary
So 2017 is over and everyone begins the arduous task of remembering to put “2018” when writing dates instead of “2017”. Most of us would have at some point taken stock of the year that has gone and put in place plans to make 2018 amazing!
It’s no different at TGP, across the business we’ve been looking at what went right, what went wrong and what we could do better. As we all know financially 2017 didn’t quite live up to our expectations, we hit 76% of our budget, which is an achievement but it’s not where we’d like to be. Extra emphasis has been placed on understanding where we do and don’t make money, the risks we face going forwards and the investment and collaboration we need to get there. All of these things should make us a more efficient and sustainable business going forwards and allow us to thrive in a complex, competitive industry

As some of you are aware, SMT have been running breakfast meetings to discuss, well, anything! Covering topics from social events to business plans and performance, this is your chance to get up close and personal with members of SMT in an informal briefing session. You are encouraged to ask any questions, share suggestions and put forward ideas whilst sipping tea and eating a breakfast which is provided for you. It’s also a great way to be introduced to some colleagues you may not have met before.
