- Though the government has pushed back the smart meter rollout deadline to 2024, Ofgem and BEIS are expected to introduce a stricter framework and reporting requirements ...so we aren't losing any momentum!
- The SMETS 1 enrollment and adoption programme to upgrade these meters continue to provide challenges against the expected timelines.
Customer Engagement
- TGP's portfolio now has 70 smart meters and bookings for 100 more over the Xmas period.
- We've issued a mass mailout to more than 5,000 SME customers to encourage them to request a meter upgrade.
- Since the launch of the smart marketing campaign we've received more than 400 customer requests covering over 1000 meters. Alongside ongoing marketing efforts we're now also getting warm leads from our Cape Town and Newcastle offices, and will be continuing to built a robust lead pipeline.
System Solutions
- The WFS agent engagement tool is up and running. This provides our AMR & Smart Operations Team the ability to create, send and track all installation requests for smart meters in conjunction with our install provider SMS Plc
