Meditation in the workplace is gaining increasing interest from employers in the UK, to reduce stress, anxiety and absenteeism from one side and improve health, efficiency and productivity from the other.

Many businesses are turning to the ancient practice of meditation to help employees focus and prioritise effectively. TGP has also taken some action to develop wellbeing within the workplace and at our Leeds office we are given the last 10/15 minutes of the day to chill out, to talk about the day in order to be able to switch our minds to something else, leaving any work related issues at work. We have also introduced a 10-minute meditation session twice per week to release stress, anxiety, frustration and any other negative thoughts. By listening to a motivational meditation guide for beginners and focusing on the natural flow of the breath we find a moment of peace and relaxation.

Of course, everyone has their own experience in life and meditation is a personal commitment. How often you want to meditate or not meditate at all depends on our own choice.
